Attachment forum permissions

Is it by design that normal users can't download attachments in that forum?

bfoos, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Actually, it's forum wide. If any others in the code converters group see this, could you try and download attachments in the forums?

Yeah, I think it definitely has something to do with the code converters group. I notice we don't show up in the member list either.

one user told me in order to request a code you have to post it in someone elses post even if its a different game i asked for more info on this but he insulted me saying i cant read the instructions and just post your request in another persons post i dont get this, this forums getting retarded where you cant request any code unless you post it in someone elses post.

That user is an smod and he most certainly didn't insult you. You can make requests in the proper forums. No, you cannot post in the database forums. Only staff and the code converters groups can.

This has nothing to do with the attachment issues. That was resolved.
