I heard that you can use a keyboard to type in codes easier, does it matter what kind of keyboard you use?

Most keyboards will work on the Ps2 with the right cheat devices, and all of the keyboards i've tested work with Codebreaker 9

I've helped many many people here. I just don't think it's too much to ask for people to read the forum descriptions and use some common sense when posting. It helps to keep the forums orderly. Maybe I could have worded my reply a bit differently but I think I was far from being mean.

It probably doesn't need to be said, but keyboards won't work for PS1 devices. I mean.. PSX/PSOne consoles didn't have USB...using a keyboard would be..impossible.

Did they ever make one that worked for psx/ps1?
I've never seen it, but it would make typing the codes in alot easier.
looking at the psx/ps1 I dont see a spot for a keyboard unless they had one that was a non USB plug in, there should be a removable plastic thing on the back of the ps1 that could have worked I would think but I've never seen a keyboard with that kind of plug in.
Be nice though.

Helpful in some cases but not all.
And nice you can only get from a select few.
As for the keyboard thing, I couldn't tell you. I either update my codes either by Flash Drvie or by DSL connection.
